Can my employer pay the rent?
You book and pay from your own account, and your receipts are there to send to your employer for reimbursement.
What if I find a permanent place early?
After the first month the lease is month to month. Give 60 days' written notice and you're free to go.
What lease do I sign?
The Ontario Standard Lease, signed online. After the first month it continues month to month, and you can leave with 60 days' written notice.
What do I pay up front?
First month's rent and a last month's rent deposit, plus a 4% renter service fee (plus HST). When you request a home the amount is held on your card, not charged, until your lease is signed.
