Can I rent for one term only?
Yes. Look for homes that allow 4–6 month stays. Each listing shows its minimum and maximum stay.
Can a parent or guardian help me qualify?
Renter checks are done in your own name. If your income is limited, add a note to your request explaining your support, and the landlord decides.
Can I share with a roommate?
Yes, as long as the home allows the number of occupants. Add everyone who will live there when you request the home.
What lease do I sign?
The Ontario Standard Lease, signed online. After the first month it continues month to month, and you can leave with 60 days' written notice.
